Honkyuichi Hamono is a renowned blacksmith workshop founded in 1895 in Shimabara, Nagasaki Prefecture. The workshops continue the traditional Japanese blacksmithing and specialize in hand-forged knives that guarantee excellent sharpness and long life. This line of knives is forged from high-quality Shirogami No. 2 high-carbon steel and hardened in pure spring water from the Shimabara area.
