Product description

This traditional Deba knife is handmade by master craftsmen in the Sakai region, renowned for its long history of Japanese knife making. It is a single-edged, right-handed knife, ideal for fish processing - from slicing to filleting - but can also be used for preparing meat and poultry.

The blade is made of high-quality Shirogami #2 (White Steel No. 2) carbon steel with a soft iron sheath, which guarantees excellent sharpness and easy sharpening. Despite its robust construction and higher weight, the knife is very easy to work with.
