Product description
This traditional Japanese Yanagiba knife is ideal for preparing sashimi, sushi and precise slicing of raw fish. Handcrafted in Japan, it combines the beauty of a multi-layered Damascus pattern with the precision of a blade made of White Paper Steel (Shirogami) - one of the sharpest carbon steels.
Thanks to its single-sided blade ( for right-handed people ), it allows for a perfect, smooth cut without damaging the ingredients. This knife is an excellent choice for chefs who want to enter the world of traditional Japanese steels. The beautiful round handle made of rosewood is finished with a black transition ring made of laminated plywood (shawl/ferrule).
