Product description

This Santoku knife made of Hitachi Ginsan steel (Gingami No. 3) combines the look of a traditional Japanese knife with the benefits of modern stainless steel .
It is hand-forged by an experienced Japanese blacksmith using the split forging method, which ensures excellent material density, a smooth surface and a long blade life.

Ginsan steel (also known as "Silver Steel") is a premium stainless steel from Hitachi Metals , known for its high hardness, excellent corrosion resistance, and ability to achieve a fine edge comparable to Shirogami-type carbon steels.
The matte "Nashiji Finish" (subtly pearlescent finish) gives the knife an elegant appearance and reduces food sticking when cutting.

The handle made of high-quality walnut wood provides a firm and natural grip that is comfortable even during prolonged work in the kitchen.
The Santoku shape (literally "three virtues") is ideal for slicing meat, fish and vegetables - a versatile choice for everyday use.
